The aim of SME managers is that their company competitive in the market, in order to develop and achieved some positive results. The successful strategic management is necessary to constantly adapt to the external environment, timely analyze emerging issues and mainly react quickly and flexibly to changes. Increasing amounts of business entities acquires strategic analysis and strategy as such its importance. The basic data for the creation of strategy, information about the external environment, ie. About the market and its surroundings and internal business environment. Managers who can effectively exploit the advantages of the company in cooperation with market opportunities and the effect of weaknesses and threats, ensure your organization prosperity and increase their growth rate. However, they must choose a competitive strategy, with which it is possible to succeed on the market to SMEs to provide for the possibility of differentiation, setting a higher level of services offered and, ultimately, mainly to enhance customer satisfaction by which it is first and foremost. The article deals with finding whether the strategic management of SME impact on the growth rate of the company. Data were obtained from 183 enterprises operating in the South Region by questionnaires. The research was conducted in the period 2014-15.
