Original language description
The aim of the article is to attempt to interpret the theory of the value of human life in the economic dimension through the interdisciplinary approach of social and human sciences. The term "value" is multidimensional, so the approach is justified. The multidimensional nature of the term is also determined by the theoretical concepts of other sciences - especially philosophy, ethics, theology. However, these sciences have never brought, even for their methodological approach, the expression of the value of human life quantitatively in monetary units. It is clear that the value of human life is measurable, but only with an orientative result. Even this result can serve as an important supporting tool in various political representation decisions. Therefore, this theory is also a subject of interest to the economy of the public sector.
