    Destination management organisations´ marketing approach to overcrowded tourist destinations

    Ever more tourist destinations suffer from so called overtourism: the overcrowding of spaces by tourists. This phenomenon does not only affect popular foreign cities and resorts but also has an impact on smaller, regional destinations. This work studies the options of regulating overtourism through marketing efforts of such destinations through the examination of current marketing practice and its results in destinations Český Krumlov (CZ) and Morbihan (FR). Moreover, this work must reflect current situation in the field of international travel and tourism and its impact in the destinations as a result of the global Covid-19 pandemic.
