Pea mutant risnod 27 as reference line for field assesment for impact of symbiotic nitrogen fixacion
Original language description
Im the case of ideal behavior of nodulation under fiield conditions, the impact of nitrogen fixation on plant grown can be easily determinend by substracting the yield of a mutant from the original cultivar forming wild-type symbiotic nodules. Therefore, four symbiotic mutants of pea (Pisum sativum L.) cv. Finale termed Rismond2, Rismond27, Risfix0, and RisfixM were tested as reference lines for the field assessment of The contribution of biological nitrogen fixacion to sed yeld. In 1996 and 1997 fie ldtrials, the stable non-modulation of Rinod2 and Risnod 27 was corfirmend, as well as infectiveness of RiasfixO nodules. Phenotype of RdfixM was found to nebe affect the net contritibutiopn of symbiosis. such differences may originate either from the pleiotropy of a nodulation mutation or from occurrence of multiple mutations in the line.
