Original language description
The structure of the pharynx of the adult female nematode Anguillicoloides crassus (Spirurina) has been studied for the first time using light and transmission electron microscopy. New observations for nematodes include: (1) the non-contractile regions of pharyngeal musculature in the corpus have specific appearance; (2) the ventrosublateral longitudinal nerve in the pharynx has an enlarged, enucleated anterior part, with a pronounced palmate projections; and (3) abundant lysosome-like membranous bodiesconsisting of myelin-like figures of varied size present in marginal cells and pharyngointestinal valve.

Czech description
Poprvé byla studována struktura hltanu u dospělé samice hlístice Anguillicoloides crassus (Spirurina) pomocí světelné a transmisní elektronové mikroskopie. Nová pozorování pro hlístice zahrnují: (1) nekontraktilní oblasti hltanové svaloviny korpusu majíspecifický vzhled; (2) ventrosublaterální podélný nerv hltanu má zvětšenou přední bezjadernou část s nápadnými dlanitými výrustky; (3) v okrajových buňkách a ve faryngo-ezofageální chlopni jsou přítomna četná lysozomní membranozní tělíska obsahující myelinozní útvary různé velikosti.
