o-Phthaldialdehyde in combination with the series of 6 thiosugars were used for the pre-column chiral derivatization of selected primary amino acids. The diastereomers were resolved on conventional reversed-phase column and with fluorescence detection. Asurprisingly effective resolution of 1-isoindolyl(1-thioglycosides) derived from 1-thio-?-L-fucose was observed.

Czech description
Pro předkolonovou chirální derivatizaci vybraných primárních aminokyselin byl použit o-ftaldialdehyd v kombinaci se sérií šesti thiocukrů. Vzniklé diastereoisomery byly separovány na konvenční koloně s reverzní fází s využitím fluorescenčního detektoru.Bylo pozorováno překvapivě účinné rozlišení 1-isoindolyl(1-thioglycosidů) odvozených od 1-thio-?-L-fucosy.
