Impact of Bt potatoes on non-target arthropods
Original language description
Community composition and abundance of epigeic arthropods (spiders and ground beetles) caught to pitfall traps and of ladybirds sampled on plants were compared between conventional and GMO potatoes in Bulgaria. The two plots either did not differ or bothabundance and species richness were higher in GMO plots. Potato cultivar had no effect on development of ladybirds fed with aphids from potatoes in laboratory.
