Original language description
We reconstructed molecular-based phylogeny of Holarctic butterfly genus Oeneis and demonstrated roles of ecological and geographical speciation during the genus evolution. Further, we identified paraphyletic position of Neominois (syn. n.) and detected five species groups corresponding with taxonomic division of the genus.
