Tick-borne encephalitis virus (TBEV) is a neurotropic orthoflavivirus that invades the central nervous system (CNS), causing severe neurological disease and posing a significant public health threat. Traditionally, detecting TBEV in infected cells or animal models relied on labor labor-intensive secondary methods, preventing real real-time observation of infection and limiting studies of viral spread and host responses.
