Original language description

Design of a microscope slide-based microarray assay for simultaneous identification of six potato viruses is shown. Primer pairs were designed to obtain specific amplicons from: Potato virus A, S, X, Y, Potato mop-top virus and Potato leaf-roll virus. Viral DNA probes were spotted on a microscope slide coated with poly-L-lysine. The same primers were used for preparation of fluorochrome-labeled targets. The latter were hybridized on the microarray slide. Simultaneous assay of two pathogens is given.
