Original language description
The paper deals with determining the individual risks of particular zoonoses. The infections of bacterial, viral, and parasitic origins were investigated. The risk analysis was focused both on the selected zoonoses of alimentary origin and classical zoonoses with natural reservoirs. The individual risks of infections were assessed together with their development from 2004 to 2008 in Brno city. The situation was compared with the country average for the same period of time. Countermeasures were proposedfor reducing unacceptable risks.
