The submitted paper presents an original project and realization of the prototype of a portable continuous aerosol concentrator operating on the principle of accumulation of gases, vapours and aerosols in liquid aerosol. Further, the paper is focused onthe possibilities of applying the designed concentrator for continuous monitoring of contaminants in the atmosphere which is based on the enrichment of polydisperse aerosol of deionized water using a contaminant which is being determined. The main attention was aimed at the possibilities of continuous monitoring of explosive vapours
