The inhalation of radioactive aerosols is one of the most dangerous possibilities of inner contamination of the human body. The paper presents a possibility for a direct field determination of the radioactive aerosol concentration. One of the most important parameter to determine the radioactive aerosols concentration is the detection efficiency. This parameter is specific for different radionuclides, measuring devices and measurement geometry.
