The paper deals with hazard identification and assessment the hazards to a part of hydrogeological structures and technological elements of water sources earmarked for the emergency supply of population by drinking water. The elaborated general registerof hazards is a matrix for constructing the register of particular water source. It can also be used together with the indexation of hazard source activation frequency as a basis for subsequent risk assessment and the classification of source within thesystem of crisis planning.
