Paper describes the issue of generation of module and modular structures with focus to solve the problems of definition of modules as basic elements of modularity and possible approaches to the selection of assessment and forming the modular task forces.Utilization of the principles of modularity as the key characteristic of modular forces, and definition of module as primary measure for selection of units assigned to the task forces, is construed basic precondition of utilization of modularity as a method of the task forces generation. Main part of my paper specifies the determinants of military module with basic characteristics determining the quality, structure and field of expertise of the individual modules. The determining factor of utilizationof modularity as a method of task forces generation is the optimizing the process of forces generation within the operational planning process.
