Original language description
The aims of paper are to assess broadly and objectively the impact of the tested fuel additives on diesel engine operation, especially environmental, technical and economic aspects. There were declared characteristics of the selected additive Envirox andits aspects for practical applications. For completeness are mentioned methods and material used for analysis during testing. Obtained results and discussions are focused on fuel consumption, specific fuel consumption and its economic evaluation. The significant environmental impact of additives is evaluated on the operation of engines, where are shown exhalation components of the exhaust gases, some gas and solid particles. No less important is the evaluation of the influence of additives on actual engine operation, the crank mechanism. Influence of wear and tear, any possible damage of engine components was monitored by triboanalyze of engine oil.
