A model approach to the desicion-making process
Original language description
The article deals with the model approach to the tactical decision-making development and tactical decision support systems, including the modelling, simulation and development of modern trends in this area. Modelling and simulation performed important cognitive and practical functions in military history. For a long time, the military modelling and simulation had a character of applied science, mainly in the commanders decision process, prediction and planning of combat operations. Model approach to the decision-making activities in the military may decisively contribute to the improvement of the commander?s skills to effectively react in difficult situations in real time. The construction of models of decision-making processes and their solution is motivated by intentions to limit the intuitive decision-making and eliminate the negative consequences of subjective problem-solving procedure.
