Decision-making approach in military practice is similar to the decision-making of commercial managers in many cases. Also, the commanders are focused in their decision making process on the most optimal variants of the available options. In military applications, more than in the civil area, are important factors of time, available material resources, unknown environment and force protection issue. And therefore it is logical to amplify the commander?s software support of the decision-making process and tactical activities modeling. The subject of the article is focused on the issue of the military decision-making process, modeling and optimization of tactical activities with an emphasis to the strike, as a fundamental element of tactical activities.
