Operational-Tactical Language for Combat Modeling
Original language description
This paper deals with the programming language designed for combat modeling and simulation on the operational and tactical level. The key element of the whole system is the operational-tactical server providing many specific functions (information aboutenvironment, computing direct and circle visibility, finding optimal path, etc.). These functions can be called as commands of the operational-tactical language. The aim of the language is to support modeling and simulation of basic and advanced combat elements and activities. Commanders can use these models to support their decision making. The language is also designed for students of military universities for better understanding of commander?s decision-making process.
