Original language description
The article addresses the issue of the impact of military spending on macroeconomic devel-opments. According to the macroeconomic theory, military expenditures represent one part of government spending. Government spending means state intervention in the economy. Presentation of the problem requires clarification of fundamental causal link. Emphasis is put general approach to regression analysis of time series of military expenditures. The main task of regression and correlation analysis is mathematical description of systematic circumstances which are caused by statistical dependence. we were dealing with projection of development of conditional averages. Based on the data characterizing economic growth and defense spending as a share of GDP, a correlation analysis can be used in a period of time.
