Selected methods of military expenditure modeling
Original language description
The aim of the article is to offer appropriate statistical models for description of time series of military expenditure. The issue of military expenditure modeling belongs among main contemporary topics of defense economics. The article focuses on selected quantitative models, such as vector autoregressive models (VAR), vector error-correction models (VECM) or autoregressive-distributed lag models (ARDL), see Johansen (1995), Lűthepohl (2007) or Johnston (1984). These models are applied to the time series of economic indicators of selected NATO member states.
