Development of prerequisites for ethical leadership in the Army of the Czech Republic
Original language description
The main prerequisites for ethical leadership in the Army of the Czech Republic (hereinafter referred to as ACR) are ethical education and the ethical leadership of military professionals, as well as the readiness of the military environment to adopt ethical leadership. In the first chapter of the paper, the bases for the implementation of ethical leadership into the military environment are specified. In the second chapter, using the problem tree method, Delphi method, and stakeholder influence analysis, analyses assessing the readiness of the Czech army environment for ethical leadership in 2013 and 2017 are described. It was found out that the Czech Army, despite some improvements, is still not sufficiently prepared for ethical leadership.
