To achieve the goal of effective coalition operations, NATO common-funded C3 (Consultation, Command and Control) systems must be interoperable and be capable of interoperating with those of member and partner nations. There are currently several directives which provides framework to support C3 Systems Interoperability to enhance the Alliance?s operational effectiveness and improve efficiency of available resources by implementing interoperable and affordable C3 systems that will provide the right information to the right user at the right time.
