    FEM Model of Airframe Fuselage Part

    The paper deals with the proposal of FEM model of a helicopter fuselage part using SW Ansys. FEM model is a semimonocoque structure consisting of spars, ribs and skin. The model follows practical experiments on real structure loaded by bending and torsion moments. The load is based upon a limit airplane load. Proposal model helps to simulate the battle damages and to predict their effect on operational and flight helicopter capabilities. Some operational damages were carried out on the model and experimental part as well. The simulation is compared to practical experiments and influencing factors are disscussed.
