    In this contribution, the issue of using air armament at assaulting air targets is analyzed. The major advantages and disadvantages using air cannons, air guided and unguided missiles are mentioned. Further on, the guidance systems of guided missiles arebeing analyzed, and simu-lated areas of possible assaults by hypothetical guided missiles are being displayed.
