The Reach-Back Concept in The Czech Army Corps of Engineers
Original language description
There is described Reach-Back concept, its application in the Czech Corps of Engineers and the future development on the frame of Reach-Back Laboratory (common project of Department of Engineer Technologies and Department of Combat Support Management) isdiscussed. Short history overview is put on, especially with connection to floods on Czech territory 2002. Structure and function of all parts of Reach-Back Laboratory is explained with focus to web portal of Corps of Engineers. Engineers Library, Studycomponent and Reach-Back component is described in deep. Reach-Back component is presented like platform for on-line or off-line team collaboration, usage of webconferencing system is discussed too. Connectivity and intersections with army NEC concept and its Engineers subsystem is on focus of the last part of paper.
