Using MATLAB for objects tracking in image data.
Original language description
This paper deals with objects discrimination in image data using position prediction. As input data serves video sequences saved on hard disc or live video from camera which is connected to PC. For image processing and object detection are used build-inMatlab functions. Every video frame is preprocessed and converted to binary picture. From binary picture are obtained positions of all detected objects. For prediction of object position in pictures sequence are used principles of Kalman filtration. Thefilter coefficients are updated after every frame because of object movement and only position in next frame is predicted. Objects discrimination is realised on the matching true and predicted trajectory, when in case of their deviation is object eliminated. This method could be used in guidance system of missile with focal plane array seeker or for missile warning systems.
