The paper deals with the design of a combined servomechanism for a mobile free-space optical link which creates required conditions for reliable communications between one stationary station and one station placed on a moving vehicle. We suppose a two-step control system. The first step is based on a GPS receiver and an inertial reference unit, and the second one operates with a video tracking system.
