Modeling of the Relief Impact to Cross-Country Movement
Original language description
The sophistic modeling of the Cross-Country Movement is very important for the military training and operations. Terrain relief slopes are the most important features for this modeling because of terrain interaction with vehicles. Also soils, vegetation, drainage (hydrology), meteorological factors and vehicle movement characteristics are concerned for this modeling. The goal of this paper is the particular analysis of the critical relief factors in terrain, which are important for the vehicles manoeuvre and their cartographic visualization. The relief gradient and microrelief forms impacts to cross-country movement according to the profile description of vehicle route are analyzed in paper.
