Paper in Geospatial Intelligence Summit, 29th ? 30th September 2010, Vienna, Austria, Jacobs Flaming Conferences. Activities of armed forces are mainly in the landscape which impacts them significantly. Good knowledge of natural environment in the Area of Responsibility is an assumption of a mission success. It is necessary to evaluate the impact of natural environment on given activity. The advanced methods of analysis of main military geographic and hydro-meteorological properties of natural environment are used only particularly in the areas of responsibility. The results of analyses are presented in the Recognised Environmental Picture (REP) as a part of Common Operational Picture via web mapping services. The quality of data sources are evaluatedand considered during REP creation.
