    The mechanical properties of Plasma nitrided layers

  • Original language description

    The cavities with the diameter of 6 mm were investigated and subsequently compared. During experiments the utilization of plasma nitriding process for nitriding cavities with small diameters of 6 mm was proved. The increasing of pressure from 500 Pa to 600 Pa lengthened plasma nitriding in length of cavity. Moreover, the influence between nitrogen content and the Nht thickness or microhardness were found. The mechanical and corrosion properties were improved.
