Original language description
Building camps/bases capability belongs to the area of military engineering. It is a real challenge for Czech Army engineers because the Czech Republic has declared an ambition to deploy abroad a brigade battle group abroad for contribution in solving acrisis situation. The article shows the approach of Czech Army engineers who are trying to solve this difficult problem. It is obvious, that basic operational situation, consequential military requirements and considerations are necessary for developingof technical methods and construction standards which are supposed to be used in an area of operation. The aim of this article is to identify key points which should be taken into account within the scope of engineer intelligence and reconnaissance. Thearticle also trying to reflect the current level of recognition in this area, considering relevant NATO document and other armies open resources.
