Firing stability of mounted small arms
Original language description
The article focuses on the motions of the automatic weapons on the tripod during a burst fire. The presented dynamic model has got eight degrees of freedom. The calculated results were verified on the real weapon. The excitation force as the input data was obtained analysing of measured data from the functional diagram in course of the functional cycle. The main components of the excitation force are discussed for their using in calculations. The experimental determination of the motions of the weapon has been obtained using of two high-speed cameras and laser displacement gauges. The procedure can be used in the process of the evaluation or assessment of the weapon system during procurement process, during military testing, etc.
