The values of the internal diameter of the barrel bore at defined places has significant role in the process of the technical inspection of the 125mm tank cannon 2A46 barrel. The paper deals with the applicability of the industry digital Mitutoyo Bore Gage CGD160 to that. The article describes the results of measurement made on the training barrel belonging to Department of Weapons and Ammunition. The data has been compared to the different sets of measurement results made by the Bore Gage BG-20 instrument.
