Original language description
Dynamic behaviour of a gas turbine engine (GTE) is most of all defined by its shaft dynamics i.e. mass moment inertia of the rotating spool. The other kinds of energy conservation principles (mass and heat storage) are sometimes completely neglected [1].This paper, using a mathematical model of a gas turbine engine, shows in what extant the embodiment of pressure dynamics can affect the dynamic behaviour of the engine.
