The author studies the evolution of the Czechoslovak aviation from its beginnings to the MiG-19s in his article. In the paper airplanes which had a decisive influence on the tactics and development of the air combat, including the widespread and effective MiG-15bis, are characterized. For each type of aircraft a professional assessment of equipment is carried out and tactical and technical data with emphasis on the possibilities of use of its armament in an aerial combat. In conclusion the author considers the evolution of tactics in air combat and aircraft technical improvement options
