    Nowadays, the highest priority of the Army of the Czech Republic is to participate in ensuring the foreign military missions. With this main task, the accommodation and the protection of the soldiers is solved and realized by military bases. The articledeals about the use of ANSYS Autodyn program because of its utilize in modeling the effects of explosions to the important parts of military bases. With the help of this program as a preventive measure, the defense of main constructions can be improved.
