Original language description

The article deals with basic design principles of the main and emergency entrances at the military bases of the Czech Armed Forces during peacekeeping operations. It describes all essential parts of the entrance, its zones and its function and proposes the most suitable building materials. It proposes two options of the entrance according to the kind and size of the military base: forward operating base (FOB) and headquarters complex. The article is based on the outcomes of the Defence Research Project?Technical support of design, building, maintenance and cancelling of the Czech military bases in missions abroad, using the Reach-Back concept?.
