Original language description
The article deals with the basic building materials used in the protective structures at the construction of the military bases of the Czech Armed Forces during peacekeeping operations. It also describes main parts of ballistic protection and its classification according to the NATO military regulation STANAG 2280 ?Design Threat Levels and Handover Procedures for Temporary Protective Structures?. The findings from the research will also be used in the amendment of the military regulation of Czech ArmedForces Žen 2-1/1 ?Field Fortification for surface structures?. The article is based on the outcomes of the Defence Research Project ?Technical support of design, building, maintenance and cancelling of the Czech military bases in missions abroad, using the Reach-Back concept?.
