APPLICATION ANALYSIS OF PROXIMITY SENSORS FOR USE IN A LOW-COST RECONNAISSANCE VEHICLES
Original language description
There is huge development of reconnaissance vehicles at present. Condition to be unmanned, thus their movement in space will be automatically controlled lays on this means. This is particularly important in an environment, where it is impossible for a human to enter. These means must also allow carrying different equipment for environment reconnaissance (e.g. camera, temperature sensors and sensors for atmosphere analysis) and concurrently achieve optimum dimensions. Reconnaissance vehicle moving in especially indoor space may run into an obstacle that is why it must have placed a sensor that detects an obstacle on a board. This sensor is integrated into the control system of the means to react adequately on an obstacle and avoid of a collision. For detection of obstacles is possible to use a proximity sensor. Therefore the paper is devoted to an application analysis of existing proximity sensors for closed environments (rooms, halls, storehouses) with a focus on the most important par
