The implementation of the surveillance radar model in the simulation environment
Original language description
The use of simulation technology for training of the Air Force has already taken place at some levels within the NATO armies. Simulation technologies have not been longer regarded only as a supplement to real training, but they are also used in full preparation, training and evaluation of the operational staff. The information about air situation is a necessary part of the Air Force personnel training. Such information is delivered by both land and air radar sensors. This paper presents the issues involved in implementation of a model of primary 2D and 3D radar sensors into the general simulation environment worked with the simulation protocol. Individual phenomena arising in radiolocation are examined which can be used in the model.
