    Numerical modelling of flight maneuver

  • Original language description

    The paper deals with modeling of aircraft movement to determine flight performance even in unstable flight. The solution is based on the numerical integration of the equations of motion. Actual mathematical model assumes knowledge of the aerodynamic characteristics of the aircraft that could be given, depending on availability of materials, either as lift-drag polar or lift-drag polar with lift curve, or lift-drag polar with lift and moment curves. First two models consider plane as mass point. In thesecases the model is controlled by so-called control parameters. The third model is extended of respecting moment curve and it is controlled not only by control parameters but also by elevator deflection. Respecting of the moment curve in the last model allows introducing gravity center location. The use of modeling method is demonstrated on two examples, sharp level turn modeling and modeling of a range.
