  • Original language description

    Serial chamber gun is the barrel weapon designed for the purpose of gaining higher muzzle velocity of the projectile. This objective is achieved by increasing the mean ballistic pressure with the use of additional combustion chambers placed alongside thebarrel bore. The problem was described by the interior ballistics model and solved by the numerical computation. The results were compared to the experimental shooting of caliber 12.7 serial chamber gun system. The significant increase in the projectile's muzzle energy was observed.
