Flight illusions belong to the real threats for the flight safety. The illusions originate first of all from the not ideal human senses for spatial orientation by such activity like flying. Some bad managed flight illusions can lead to a pilot's spatial disorientation resulting in possible aviation accidents. Thus it is necessary to impart this fact especially the new pilots and, when possible, implement the flight illusions demonstrations into the basic flight training. This article deals with the development of a procedure for enhanced utilization of the spatial disorientation demonstrator and flight simulator GYRO IPT II by the military pilots' basic flight training in the Czech Republic.
