Original language description
Vehicle obstacle negotiation capability is one of a part of capabilities which determine a vehicle tactical mobility. Tactical mobility directly influences a vehicle survivability in a battlefield. Experimental measuring and field tests are standards manners for vehicle mobility evaluation. Simulating technologies are the next possible, progressive and “cheaper” method for the vehicle tactical mobility analysis. Analysis of different vehicles in the same “circuit” under the same conditions, simulations of various vehicle states (including critical operating conditions) and modification without possibility of vehicle damage are the main advantages of simulating technologies. This paper is focus on application of MSC.ADAMS software for vehicle obstacle negotiation capability.
