Original language description
The article is focused on the analysis of system properties and the possibilities of different types of passive surveillance systems in the sphere of electronic intelligence and air traffic control. They are: direction finding, time difference of arrival, passive coherent and active passive systems of air target location. Based on the air targets - airplanes positional coordinates accuracy determines mainly of the passive surveillance systems usefulness for air traffic control, respectively, suggesting possibilities for additional research and development.
