Diagnostic of Selected Parts of Vehicle and its Internal Combustion Engine
Original language description
The current high requirements for reducing emissions of internal combustion engines, which are expressed in the forthcoming European standard EURO VII/7, cannot be met for conventional internal combustion engines. At present, these strict environmental requirements are likely to be postponed. The authors focus on selected theoretical possibilities and practical applications of technical diagnostics (on-board, serial, parallel), which could contribute to prolonging the use of internal combustion engines. Advanced diagnostic methods (eg the use of lubricating media as a source of information on the technical condition, etc.), using expert and autonomous systems, information technology, etc. can also contribute to increasing operational safety, significantly reducing emissions, optimizing fuel consumption, etc.
