Original language description
This paper deals with an electronically controlled phase shifter utilizing a ferrite circulator for high power applications. A stepper motor is used for controlling the phase shifter. The described phase shifter enables the phase change in the range of -180° to +180°. The sensitivity of the phase adjustment is 0.5° at a rate of 180° in 0.5 seconds. The electronic control of the phase shifter is carried out in MATLAB environment.
