Trends and the Possibility of Using Tribodiagnostic in Internal Combustion Engines of Combat Vehicles during Maintenance

  • Original language description

This article deals with current trends in combat vehicle maintenance and the possibility of using tribodiagnostic on combat vehicle internal combustion engines during their life cycle. Since having to repair when there is an engine failure, up to now, engine maintenance has been developed by monitoring the technical condition of the engine, especially engine oil analysis, which helps to predict damage in advance, thereby correcting the damaged condition of the engine. Maintenance work is shortened, reduced costs, increased machine reliability. The use of a physicochemical analysis method for the lubrication of oil in the engine of combat vehicles combined with the ferrography method based on an artificial intelligence model helps identify and classify abrasive particles in engine oil.
