    Evaluation metodology for counter unmanned aerial system detectors

    Counter Unmanned Aerial Systems (C-UAS) as a rapidly evolving military area have to deal with the number of various threats and challenges especially with the small unmanned aerial vehicles (sUAV). The crucial part of the system is detection which provides us the initial information about incoming threat. Several main approaches of getting early warning information of incoming UAV exist. Radio-frequency (RF) detectors, active radars, opto-electronic (OE) detectors or acoustic detectors. The paper deals with the methodology for possible evaluation of different kind of detectors, and experimentally test of this methodology using active radar ReGuard from Retia company.
